In this day and age there is absolutely no reason why people should be uneducated, unaware and worst of all feel ashamed of their skin! Too many times over the last three years Fiona spoke to clients at her Chester skin clinic The Skinologists and heard all too similar stories.

One of the many horror stories was a client who in desperation to fix her skin watched a TikTok video and bought a dermaroller.  Unfortunately for her it was not sterile and she wasn’t sure on the needle length. Instead of improving her red skin it became worse. Large holes appeared all over her face and became infected. On visiting the clinic we had to send her to the GP for antibiotics to clear her skin up of infection before we could start the repair work.
